Here’s a throwback Thursday for you…
To the end of March, when we were enjoying a free cruise in the Caribbean.
And this cabana on the beach.

This trip was so special in so many ways.

Not only did the trip itself - the memories we made together as a family, the new friends the kids made, and the date nights we had - but the HUGE ah-ha moment for me.

My husband has been an amazing provider for our family, but especially over the last 9+ years as I've been blessed with the ability to be a stay-at-home mom.
He works so hard to provide a lifestyle for us that I am absolutely in love with.
We are truly blessed beyond belief.

But this trip?
This trip was different.
This time *I was the one taking HIM* on a trip.
I was the one who could say to the kids, “you know when mommy works at night after I put you down to sleep? That work was so we could earn this trip for free and we could enjoy this vacation TOGETHER.”
They lit up.
I think it finally all clicked for them.

Through my at-home, online business, I was able to take my family on an all-expenses paid vacation.
Crazy, right?!?!?
I got to spoil them with cruise to places we may otherwise not go to, a private cabana on the beach, and endless cocktails and trips to the steakhouse for mom & dad.

Yes, my income over the last 4 years has contributed financially to our family and allowed for many "extras" (I'll save those for another post), but in March it gave us a family vacation.
One that we will never forget.
And it has left me with a taste of what its like to be able to provide luxuries to my family, all because I SAID YES!!!
I said yes to being a stay-at-home mompreneur willing and eager to build a business from her kitchen table.

Such an amazing time on the beach in Haiti. Some of the best memories of the cruise were there.

It still doesn't seem real.

But I am so grateful for this opportunity and I'm already planning to do it again next year in the Punta Cana.
Only this time, it’s an adults only trip!!!
